The Dutch Macaw Group has been successfully doing business for more than 25 years and is constantly growing. With over 300 employees, the company is one of the leading digital full-service partners in its domestic market. In order to continue to grow the management focuses on establishing and expanding Macaw’s European activities.
Macaw has set a European strategy, which includes a buy-and-build strategy in addition to establishing subsidiaries in selected countries. In Germany, Macaw already had established a sales entity before focusing on the acqusition of a successful digital agency as a first stept to expand the German business.
B+D Interactive GmbH, part of the Cologne-based B+D Agency Group, had already decided on a carve-out from the group. During first discussions it quickly became clear that the company was an ideal addition to the Macaw Group. The managing partner stayed on board and now they exploit the creative and technological potential together.
