The-Bay-Areas e.V.
The Bay Areas e.V. association aims to connect people and organizations in the San Francisco, Kiel, and Schleswig-Holstein regions. The association promotes the development of new partnerships and contacts, while enriching existing partnerships and contacts and making them accessible to other association members.

The work of The Bay Areas e.V. promotes international knowledge exchange
The exchange is diverse and covers topics such as culture, science, business, education, politics, and sports.

Waterkant Festival
The Waterkant Festival is a cross-border start-up festival with interactive workshops, inspiring lectures, innovative ideas, and informal exchanges with around 1,200 visitors. It serves as a showcase for innovation in northern Germany, making future trends accessible in an interactive, encouraging, and open manner.

EUROCON is actively involved in the design and organization of the festival. In addition, we make our extensive network available to the organizers. We are enthusiastic about the vibrant start-up scene and always look forward to exciting insights and discussions.

UNICEF e.V.
UNICEF is the United Nations Children’s Fund. UNICEF’s mission is to realize the rights of every child, regardless of their skin color, religion, or origin. From rapid emergency aid to long-term reconstruction, UNICEF helps girls and boys around the world grow up healthy and safe and develop their full potential.
UNICEF Kiel has the task of drawing attention to injustices in the world, inspiring people to become socially involved, and collecting donations for those in need.
Together, we can make a lasting positive change in the world for children.
At EUROCON, we believe that every child has the right to education, health, and a peaceful childhood. That is why we support UNICEF’s activities in Kiel. We are involved in planning events and actively support the implementation of activities.

Schleswig-Holstein Business Study and Promotion Association
The Schleswig-Holstein Business Study and Promotion Association (Studien- und Fördergesellschaft der Schleswig-Holsteinischen Wirtschaft e. V.) is an association of around 300 companies from all sectors and regions of the state. It sees itself as an independent political forum for the Schleswig-Holstein economy. The forum promotes the necessary conditions for living and working and ensures the prosperity of the people in the federal state.
In addition, it places a special focus on socio-political youth and adult education as well as specialist and management-specific training at the Tannenfelde Education and Conference Center.
Education, politics, and culture
For over 30 years, EUROCON has been supporting the StFG as a speaker at the Tannenfelde Conference and Education Center with selected specialist topics. Furthermore, EUROCON has been a member of the StFG for many years and has been actively involved in its further development as a member of the advisory board for several years.

Association for the Promotion of Business Succession in Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg e. V.
The association’s objective is to promote business succession in order to preserve economic activity in Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg. This is to be achieved in particular through education, information events, and the establishment and facilitation of network structures with specialist institutions. The creation of experience groups for member companies is also intended to support this.
In addition, the association represents the interests of its members in political, administrative, and public debates on economic and industry-specific issues related to the preservation of business locations by ensuring business succession.
Successfully transferring businesses to successors in and around Schleswig-Holstein
For entrepreneurs and companies, succession is often a challenge and a very personal matter. Based on our expertise in business succession and our own experience, we feel a great responsibility to actively support businesses in Schleswig-Holstein.
EUROCON was involved in the conception from the initial ideas to the founding and is one of the founding members of the association.
Marketing-Club Schleswig-Holstein e.V.
All 12,000 members of the Marketing Club share the goal of promoting and developing marketing in Germany in the areas of business and society. In this context, the Marketing Club SH has set itself the task of establishing and maintaining a center for the exchange of experience. There, executives can exchange experiences and information on all aspects of marketing management across the boundaries of their industries.

EUROCON has been a member of the Marketing Club SH for many years and supports activities related to marketing for the economy of Schleswig-Holstein. In addition, we are represented as a member on the advisory board of the Marketing Club SH.

mentorship
For many years, EUROCON has been supporting young people, aspiring entrepreneurs, and start-ups outside of its consulting projects. In doing so, it passes on its experience as an entrepreneur and consultant in discussions. Among other things, EUROCON is also active as a mentor at Plug and Play, one of the largest accelerators in the world.
We support young entrepreneurs in developing themselves and their businesses.

Christian Albrecht University of Kiel (CAU)
Christian Albrecht University in Kiel is the only comprehensive university in the state of Schleswig-Holstein and, with over 350 years of history, its oldest and largest institution of higher education. It currently has two clusters of excellence (including ROOTS and PMI), which shape the university’s research profile and extend far beyond the north.
As alumni and long-standing partners of the university, we have a strong connection to CAU. In the Kuratorium pro Universitate, we advise the Executive Board on issues at the interface of science, business, and society—such as innovation and transfer topics, the role of the university as a center of excellence, and its impact on the region.

CAU Innovation GmbH is the university’s transfer company and connects research with practice. It supports spin-offs and collaborations in order to bring knowledge to business and society. We actively support the supervisory board so that excellent science can be turned into concrete applications and business models – especially for small and medium-sized enterprises and the regional economy.

Lorenz von Stein Institute for Administrative Sciences
The Lorenz von Stein Institute for Administrative Sciences is a scientific institution affiliated with Christian Albrecht University in Kiel. It conducts research and teaching in the field of administrative sciences and is particularly dedicated to the connection between the state, administration, law, and society—from basic research and applied research for public administration to continuing education and training programs.
As a member of the Administrative Board, we contribute our perspective from the fields of economics, business practice, and corporate governance. The aim is to strengthen the interface between modern administration, administrative law, and social development – and to further expand cooperation between science, administration, and practice.
