About the Project
As part of their strategic development, the shareholders of paiqo GmbH decided to find a suitable partner to further accelerate the strong growth of recent years. The goal was to combine paiqo’s technological expertise with a complementary service portfolio and, in particular, to better tap into the market potential in the field of Agentic AI. Since initial contact with the eventual buyer had already been established, EUROCON was commissioned to manage the entire M&A process and develop a solution that meets both the strategic requirements and the individual objectives of the eight shareholders.
Solutions
The strategic fit with Cloudflight Group, a portfolio company of Partners Group, the world’s leading private equity investor, quickly became apparent. Cloudflight is one of the leading providers of custom software development, scalable IT architectures, and digital commerce solutions. The merger creates a European leader in the field of data and AI. The combined portfolio includes end-to-end solutions in the areas of data, AI, digital engineering, and e-commerce—with a particular focus on agentic AI platforms. paiqo’s shareholders will remain involved in day-to-day operations and will actively shape the company’s future. Two of the founders will assume C-level roles at the group level.
