About our client

Shisu Handelsgesellschaft mbH was founded in 1992 as a vegetable processer. The sushi production was added in 2002. In the following year, the company increasingly focused on sushi – both for retailers and discounters – and developed into a successful and innovative company within the seafood sector.

About the project

When the opportunity arose to sell the company to Natsu Food GmbH & Co. KG, EUROCON was asked by Shisu to manage the entire M&A process.

Solution

After initial discussions between the seller and the prospective buyer, a suitable takeover concept was developed. After several rounds of negotiations a deal was agreed upon, which pleased all parties. Shisu Handelsgesellschat mbH has been part of the Natsu Group since the 100% takeover and was thus able to become the market leader in the field of fresh and frozen sushi for the German food retail market within a short period of time.

The sale of our company to Natsu Foods GmbH was strategically correct and would not have been successful without the patient and technically excellent work of EUROCON.
