The company Hanseatic Delifood GmbH supplies customers with packaged fresh fish, smoked salmon and marinated salmon. At the time of the mandate, the company supplied food retailers directly and discounters through an intermediary company.
Hanseatic Delifood’s goal in this project was to take over the manufacturing company Limito as part of an asset deal in order to extend its value chain. Limito’s production focus is the processing of Norwegian salmon into smoked, frozen and fresh salmon products. In order to complete the deal Hanseatic Delifood needed tailor-made financing.
EUROCON advised on the financing concept of the transaction while taking the interests of the parties involved into account. Especially the negotiations with all parties formed the basis of a target-oriented transaction financing. The challenges of the project laid in the unusual deal structure. The result: We successfully secured the required capital on a debt and equity basis.
