About our client

Our client was a family-owned wood wholesaler that with deep roots in his region in Baden-Wuerttemberg since 1953.

About the project

There was no successor within the family, so EUROCON got the sell-side mandate from the family. The goal was to find a buyer, that would ensure the continuation of the business including all jobs. Moreover, the seller had the intention to sell the property as well.

Solution

With our expertise, our market overview and our comprehensive network in the industry we were able to compile a list of potential buyers for our client. As wood wholesale is usually regionally based, we focused our attention on companies, that were located within a maximum distance of 100 km to our client. The requirements were successfully matched and Karl Bögner GmbH & Co. KG was found as the perfect acquirer.
